Dear Portland BEC Members,
The new academic year is upon us with another season of monthly educational meetings starting in September. Last year we had a successful year, and the attendance at our monthly meetings continues to increase year after year. This is in line with our mission to provide building envelope awareness to our community.
This year, we will continue to hold the meetings at the Mercy Corps Building. We have lined up a new series of lectures, which we believe will meet your interest and your continuing education needs. We also welcome you to suggest any other topic of interest by logging onto our website and filling out a course survey form.
As you know, the Portland BEC is a Non-Profit organization and we are officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the IRS. The organization relies on your membership dues to pay for its operational costs such as room rental, insurance and expenses for out-of-state speakers. Please take the time to pay your membership dues. We are very thankful for your continued support and participation.
The membership renewal rates for 2016 - 2017 are as follows:
|Corporate||$150.00 per year (allows unlimited attendees)|
|Individual||$50.00 per year (about $5.00 per lunch seminar)|
|Student||$25.00 per year|
